Patient Advocacy · Care Coordination · Healthcare Navigation

You don't have to navigate care alone.

We stand beside individuals and families, help make complicated systems clearer, and connect people with the support they need to move forward.

CompassionatePerson-centeredExperienced

Born from lived experience.
Built to serve families.

Standing in the Gap began with a mother's journey—raising a child with special needs while learning to navigate a complicated healthcare system without a clear guide.

Founder Aqueelah created this organization from the heart so that no individual or family would have to face this journey alone. We walk alongside people, honor their voices, and provide compassionate education and practical support every step of the way.

“I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap...”

— Ezekiel 22:30
